Delicious food, large portions, heated beer garden, super nice host. What more do you want ?!

How to do it again and again. Despite the mini kitchen, we always got delicious food and generous portions. The friendly service and reasonable waiting times for freshly prepared dishes leave nothing to be desired.

Very inconspicuous, rustic atmosphere. Time has stopped here in a pleasant way. The quality and serving size of the meals are terrific, you sit in the woods, it is pleasantly quiet. Very gladly anytime again.

For the birthday of a former colleague, I was invited to lunch at Waldfrieden. The food was great. Especially recommended the dessert a cream dish Heike's specialty.

Christmas party in the Waldfrieden ... We were lucky that we got a table for five people at short notice. The staff was very friendly and fast. The food was very tasty. You have a good selection. Just a pity that you got a feeling to go. It was 10:00 pm. Conclusion: is worth a visit again. Only with pre-order.

If you want to enjoy delicious Thuringian home cooking at reasonable prices is right here. In addition a glass of Fassbrause ... great! :) The ambience is quaint, resembling a hunting lodge seat. Before or after, the adjacent forest invites you for a walk. The "landlords" are very nice and always have a loose slogan on the tongue.

Unfortunately, I can not really write anything, because without a reservation no space for spontaneously resolute could be provided, unfortunately not even for 2 people, 1 of them old and handicapped ... and thus neither the food nor the service can be evaluated. The atmosphere makes it a quaint impression, simple and old, unfortunately not very big, so if the beer garden is removed, probably only with pre-order possible. Always a nice place to take a break on the hike on the Hohe Straße from the Rittergut Positz to the Bismarkturm. Very nice staff and very good regional cuisine. The portions are plentiful.
